Molly and Eme Enter the 2016 Yuru Kyara Grand Prix

Following their strong 9^th-place finish among last year’s entries from Hokkaido, Happy Ningels’ Molly and Eme—active members of the Sapporo Community Safety Supporters—are participating in this year’s Yuru Kyara Grand Prix, and could use your support!
With Yuru Kyara Grand Prix 2016 about to begin, the time has come for yuru kyara (regional and promotional mascots) from throughout Japan to come together for this once-a-year celebration, competing in separate categories for regional, commercial, and otherwise-affiliated mascots. Heading into its 7^th hosting, this year’s event will conclude in Ehime, where the winners will be crowned.

Sapporo Community Safety Supporters participants Molly and Eme, from the Sapporo-produced game Happy Ningels, have signed up for the Yuru Kyara Grand Prix 2016. Voting for this year’s contest starts Friday, July 22^nd, and concludes on Monday, October 24^th (JST), with one vote possible per day.

In advance of the Ehime Prefecture hosting of the 72^nd National Sports Festival in 2017, the Yuru Kyara Grand Prix 2016 “Egao in Ehime” (smiling faces in Ehime) events will be held over the weekend of November 5^th and 6^th, at Shiroyama Park in the Horinouchi area of Matsuyama, Ehime.
